Please pose a question about some aspect of field paleontology. If you had the opportunity to query
What a week that was! I really enjoyed our "expedition", sleeping in tents while prospecting on the Cheyenne River Indian Reservation, staying in a Motel 6 in Oklahoma but at the Tropicana while in Nevada, braving bitter cold weather on the North Slope in Alaska and while prospecting in Montana, but finding a nice hotel in Baltimore to recover later!
We looked cruise line entertainment jobs for the king (T. rex) in many locations (in Alabama, Arizona, Alaska, cruise line entertainment jobs and elsewhere) but did not seem to have much luck. However, cruise line entertainment jobs what adventures we had along the way! We rode horses outside of Encampment after taking an ambulance owned by a rock group to Wyoming. Later caught a coffee at a Starbucks in Texas near Dinosaur Valley State Park, followed by a break in a pub between our prospecting in Red Rock Canyon, Nevada.
We did come back with a few very cool finds, however. Collected some dinosaur eggshells from the Wayan Formation in Idaho, cruise line entertainment jobs maybe a piece of a Troodon and an Albertosaurus from Alaska, and the mosquito in amber from the Culpepper Basin in Virginia is intriguing.
Had a wild time in Bull Canyon in New Mexico, a little more structured time assisting at a Marmath Research Foundation dig in North Dakota, went up to Marble Hill and down to Hell Creek! Also toured the Black Mesa State Park in Alaska, Dinosaur Park in Maryland, the Museum of Western Colorado in Morrison and the Smithsonian in DC. Have I left anything out? :)
During this imaginary trip, we all had plenty of questions we would have liked to ask to a professional field paleontologist. We'd like to know about experiences, backgrounds, prospecting tips and much more. So I am hoping you will ask one of those questions this week!
Please pose a question about some aspect of field paleontology. If you had the opportunity to query a research paleontologist, what question first comes to mind? Maybe create a question here that starts with "Have you ever...?" Then I will ask several paleontologists who are conducting current research if they would be able and willing to respond to your questions in this blog next week to give a first-hand glimpse cruise line entertainment jobs into their prospecting adventures! Thanks.
This blog accompanies a five-credit online course offered at North Seattle Community College. In addition to an active private class discussion room, students are posting cruise line entertainment jobs comments in this public space to share with others interested in "dinosaur developments." Please feel free to contribute an idea or insight to enrich our public survey on a particular question or two each week of class. Thanks.
