One (1) Grand Prize: Trip for two (2) to Los Angeles, California, including tickets to the American Idol Finale currently scheduled for May 16th, 2013 ("Event"). ARV of Grand Prize: $2,050.00. Grand Prize consists of: Round-trip coach air transportation student plane tickets to Los Angeles, CA, for winner and one (1) guest from a major commercial airport nearest student plane tickets winner s primary residence; two (2) nights' double-occupancy standard hotel accommodations at a hotel selected by the Sponsor (room and room tax only); ground transportation to and from Los Angeles airport (if applicable) student plane tickets and to and from hotel and Event; tickets for winner and one (1) guest to the Event currently scheduled for Thursday, May 16th, 2013 (but subject to change in the Sweepstake Entities sole discretion) and $250 spending money for winner only. Spending money will be issued in the form of a check or gift card, at Sponsor's discretion. Grand Prize does not include any costs or charges not expressly stated above, including, without limitation, ground transportation other than that mentioned student plane tickets herein, meals, hotel incidentals, gratuities or service charges, all of which are the responsibility solely of the Grand Prize winner and guest.
American Idol Finale Sweepstakes Winner will be selected in a random drawing from all eligible entries received. Random drawing student plane tickets will be conducted on or about April 26, 2013 under supervision of an independent judging organization whose decisions are final. American Idol Finale Sweepstakes Winner will be notified by email and/or mail and at the judges discretion and winner will be required to complete and return an Affidavit of Eligibility student plane tickets and Liability and a Publicity Release within 5 days of date specified on notification, student plane tickets or an alternate winner will be selected. American Idol Finale Sweepstakes Prize awarded within 30 days after receipt and verification of completed affidavit or prize notification. If a potential winner cannot be contacted, or if Affidavit/Release is returned as undeliverable or if the selected student plane tickets winner cannot accept or receive the prize for any reason, or he/she is not in compliance student plane tickets with these Official Rules, the prize will be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner in a separate random drawing. If an American student plane tickets Idol Finale Sweepstakes winner is otherwise eligible under these Official Rules, but is nevertheless deemed a minor in his or her state of primary residence, the prize will be awarded in the name of winner s parent or legal guardian who will be required to execute affidavit on minor's behalf. No substitutions are permitted except if prize is unavailable, in which case a prize of equal or greater ARV will be awarded. Prize is not redeemable for cash. Prize is non-assignable and non-transferable except to a surviving spouse. Winner is responsible for all federal, state, local, student plane tickets sales and income taxes. Any other incidental expenses on prize not specified herein are the sole responsibility of winner. Entry and acceptance of prize constitute permission to use winner s and winner's guest's name, prize won, hometown student plane tickets and likeness student plane tickets for online posting and promotional purposes without further compensation, except where prohibited by law. American Idol Finale Sweepstakes Prize is guaranteed to be awarded; student plane tickets provided that if prize cannot be awarded due to circumstances beyond the control of Sponsor, a substitute prize of equal or greater retail value will be awarded; provided, however, that if prize is awarded but unclaimed/forfeited by recipient, prize may not be re-awarded, in Sponsor's sole discretion.
