The roads of Las Vegas was pristine clean and the bricky houses with walls on the outskirts was transfixing. Soon, we reached our hotel. We had decided to stay on the strip - it is hip and happening to stay there, we thought so ! We were not wrong !
We stayed at Imperial Palace for 2 days and a night. This hotel is located along the strip. The Las Vegas Strip approximately stretches 4.2 miles. There are other magnificent hotels along the stretch offering classy fine dining, luxury and shows.
We were swarmed and squeezed by the masses who were either entering or exiting the premises. Well, well, we finally made it to this street. It is brilliantly lit and it dazzles with about 12 million lights.The entire street is vibrant with activity. It is lined with souvenir shops and along the pavement, there were many individuals dressed like famous personalities.
We went past at least three music bands on this street. One of the bands was singing old country styled jazz. What moved me was a old woman and a lady in the wheel chair sway to the music. This is the spirit of Vegas !!
