The Swedish home furnishings juggernaut has formed a subsidiary that will build hotels in cities throughout Europe. More accurately, the furniture chain s corporate parent, Netherlands-based Inter IKEA Systems B.V., will build the hotels in countries where it already has landholdings, mostly in northern Europe. Management of the hotels, which IKEA will own, will be contracted out to companies free international travel brochures with expertise in the field.
