When your wedding day consists of groomsmen wearing brightly colored socks (and no shoes) on the beach, a line of Zumba dancers, and a sunset ceremony, then you know you planned the perfect day. That s why Michele and Bryan had such an amazing time at Rehoboth Beach and the Henlopen Hotel , as they committed the rest of their lives together in front of family and friends.
We arrived the day before for their rehearsal dinner, which was a great way to get to know Michele, Bryan, and their families better. The dinner was a few blocks away from the boardwalk , so we went for a stroll san francisco dinner cruises to a carousel and the mini-games. We could tell that Bryan was a little shy around us, but by the end of the night, he was breaking out of that shell. (We think the beer at the rehearsal dinner helped.)
The following day went very smoothly. As the girls got ready, one of the bridesmaids broke out her cell phone and played the song O Happy Day from Sister Act 2 . They were laughing and dancing along. On the guys side, Bryan gave out goofy designed socks for the guys to wear. They joked about how they should get their picture taken in their boxers and socks, and Bec was completely on board! (Of course, I trusted her to behave!)
Their ceremony was on a picture-perfect day. There was just the right amount of wind for kites to be flown in the background (which we got some pretty cool shots of). It was adorable when two of the bridesmaids walked in with the flower girls, who were also holding a sign that said And they lived Happily Ever After . After some tears of joy and a loving kiss, the couple and their bridal party made their way down the beach for some fun portraits on a lifeguard stand.
At the reception, it was evident that this was going to be one of the liveliest groups we were a part of! Michele is a huge participant in Zumba , a Colombian dance and aerobic routine recently growing in popularity in America, san francisco dinner cruises and the only thing in life she loves more than that is her new husband. She and her friends would hop in line and start doing their Zumba routines, full choreography and all! Meanwhile, family and friends were making us feel a part of their gang, as they were handing us shots and getting us to join them. The night also included a giant slideshow of images that we took from the day, as a sneak peek.
Thank you, Michele and Bryan, for letting JPG be a part of your day. We had SUCH a blast!  And remember to keep on dancing, because life isn t about waiting for the storm to pass; it s about learning to dance in the rain .
