This week, our company celebrated spirit airlines inc a very special milestone – the anniversaries of two of our very best and first international hotels, the CasaMagna Marriott Cancun and the CasaMagna Marriott Puerto Vallarta. On October 18, 1990, we opened the doors of both of these spectacular hotels, beginning a strong, lasting commitment in the beautiful country of Mexico. I remember, when we opened these two new hotels, flying from Cancun to Puerto Vallarta and opening two hotels in the same day. It was a busy day, but it sure was fun.
Mexico has always been one of my family's favorite spirit airlines inc vacation destinations. We've always had a great time in Cancun and Puerto Vallarta is really the Queen of the Pacific. We've continued spirit airlines inc the tradition spirit airlines inc of family vacations and we've been back to Mexico many, many times. Since 1990, we have continued to grow in Mexico. We now have 18 hotels in this great country, spanning a variety of our brands – from Courtyard to Ritz-Carlton. And, we're not about to stop. We are continuing to expand our presence spirit airlines inc in Mexico as it has proven to be an incredibly important and successful market. We look forward to another 20 years of providing our guests visiting Mexico outstanding service at beautiful hotels, both old and new. I worked at the Marriott International HQ from 1986-1992 in various departments. I had the pleasure of staying over Thanksgiving 1990 at the Cancun location and throughly enjoyed the visit. Looking forward to taking my wife back there sometime soon. Thank you for bringing up great memories from the past with your blog.

After April vacation 2011 at the JW in Cancun, I can truthfully say my family of four has never had a better experience anywhere. spirit airlines inc Not only are the grounds, pool and Club 91 spectacular, but Sous Chef Dominic ******** is that rare treasure that makes it impossible for a guest to ever consider going anywhere else in Cancun. Chef ********took exquisite care of my gluten free (celiac) meals and snacks - not an easy task in Mexico! His attention to detail, and determination to make it incredible was nothing less than a miracle. I ll be spreading the word throughout the gluten free world about the two Marriotts in Cancun and Chef ******** s unbelievable food, including GF pancakes that showed up without even being asked for (possibly the happiest surprise of my life) all the way through to the spectacular rib eye. We can t wait to return. Thank you Mr Marriott for running such a world class operation, supporting diversity (which in this case was this amazing chef from the states working in Mexico!), and hiring and developing talent spirit airlines inc like Mr. ********!
I remember when all Marriott hotels had a large portrait of your father and yourself. Now you look as your father looked but presumably you do not have a son or daughter to follow. The first portrait I saw was at the Tampa Airport as we had a property in the area. I am English and live in England.
Happy anniversary! I have a timeshare through marriott that I look to use in Mexico in February. One question, in these areas, do you other travelers feel safe? Originally from the Mexican border (the Texas side) where violence has been rapidly increasing! I want to take a trip to one of the resorts in Mexico but I do not want to be scared for my life at the same time!

I wanted to tell you how pleased spirit airlines inc we were with the Marriott hotels we stayed in. In Tokyo, it was a Courtyard hotel in the Ginza district. The room and service were superb. spirit airlines inc In Hong Kong, we stayed at the Renaissance Harbourside, which was located adjacent to the famous Star Ferry. Even though this was a large hotel, spirit airlines inc the staff was attentive, and the service was superb. Our experience certainly instills loyalty in the Marriott brand.

I hope to visit your lovely hotels in Mexico someday. This week I visited your hotel in Anaheim where friends were staying. My 28 year old autistic son James was with me and he had a wonderful time. The staff was so nice to James that he was glowing with happiness after our visit. It was such a happy time for us.
One of our family s favorite vacations was to Cozumel and Cancun. We visited Cozumel first then spent 4 nights at the Marriott CasaMagna Resort in Cancun. I remember how impressed our children were when we walked into the spectacular lobby of the Cancun resort. My daughter (14 at the time) was very impressed that the Marriott logo was pressed into the sand of the ashtrays in the lobby. We needed 3 rooms (one for the boys, one for the girls and one for my wife and I). We especially remember the buffet breakfast each day. We had the same waiter each day and he could not seem to do enough for us. We had a wonderful time and have such fond memories of our stay at Marriott s CasaMagna Resort in Cancun!
At a forum held in La Jolla, we were informed that hotels are already booked towards the middle to the end of December 2012. So thanks for the awareness that Marriott is expanding spirit airlines inc and opened for business, as you keep "Marriott on the Move."
