I had no idea that we would be able to watch the pit crew and maintenance crews working on the cars

We started our Nascar hotel belvedere bellagio weekend off in Las Vegas with the Sams Town 300 Race. On Sunday we started the day with the Neon Garage before the Kobalt Tools 400 Nascar Race. Our friend bought tickets for the Neon Garage and we honestly were not sure what we were going to but figured it would be interesting to see.
The Neon Garage passes give you front and center access to the behind the scenes action at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. We arrived as early as we could to make sure we did not miss a thing. I thought hotel belvedere bellagio we would be the first ones in the parking lot hours before the event…I was wrong. If you go to a Nascar Race I highly suggest arriving hours before the event so you do not have to park in the back lots.
I had no idea that we would be able to watch the pit crew and maintenance crews working on the cars prior to the race.  You can look in the garage area from eye level and also up above so you do not miss anything. The crew was really friendly and a few of them attempted to pose while I was taking a picture. I have to be honest that I was laughing hotel belvedere bellagio at their poses and goofiness hotel belvedere bellagio that the photo did not turn out sadly.
My favorite part of the Neon Garage passes was being able to walk around pit row. Oh my goodness I had no idea you could just walk around and see up close and personal what it is like on pit row. It was amazing to see all of the equipment and pre-race preparations.
I have to say I was so unbelievable impressed with how friendly and nice all of the staff was. I have never been to a professional sporting event were you can walk up and talk to staff and crew and they are not only ok with it but also friendly. I was fascinated by the pre-race preparations. I was curious about what they were doing and asked never really expecting an answer. The crew member took time to answer all of my questions and explained exactly what they were doing. It was really nice to feel like you were not putting them out or making them upset that you were interrupting their work. They were happy to share their love of the sport and the racing process.
We were able to watch the drivers meeting and prayer prior to the race. If you are interested in watching the drivers meeting I highly suggest getting there an hour or 2 before it starts to hold your seat. It turned into a mad house about 30 minutes prior to the drivers meeting starting. We were lucky and found a spot that was out of the crowd and gave us a pretty good view of the meeting. Some of the drivers stopped to sign autographs and there were a few celebrities mixed in with the drivers.
There was so much to see and do in the Neon Garage. We spent hours in the garage area prior to the race. Being Las Vegas there were showgirls you could have your picture with, celebrity impersonators, hotel belvedere bellagio and even a Pee-Wee hotel belvedere bellagio Herman impersonator riding around on a bike.
I would definitely recommend the Neon Garage passes at the Kobalt Tools 400. It was a great way to start our day at the race track. I learned a lot about Nascar and was so unbelievably impressed with the access that is given to fans. I never thought fans would be able to walk on pit row, take pictures up close and personal hotel belvedere bellagio of the cars and driver and get to experience everything that is showcased in the Neon Garage.
