We went to the The Grand Luau at Honua'ula at the Grand Wailea Resort a few years ago and we really list hotels in wildwood new jersey enjoyed list hotels in wildwood new jersey it. It was right on the beach. The price of the Luau was on the higher side but you have round tables with about 12 people so it feels a little more intimate. We paid the little extra to get front row seats which we thought list hotels in wildwood new jersey was worth it too. We were very impressed with the food and show. I really didn't think it was going to be as good as it was. They do pull the roasted pig out of the ground, but you don't eat that one.
The Old Lahaina Luau and the Feast At Lele are judged best in the state of Hawaii, but the two in Wailea are OK too. OLL is authentic *Hawaiian*. Most of the others cover the whole of Polynesia (and have a fire dancer). FAL has superior food and drink and table service.
We like Five Palms in the Mana Kai Maui and Gannon's in a golf clubhouse above Wailea. Both serve B, L, D. Mulligans on the Blue has Irish music except when they host the wonderful Willie K. Capische? is at Hotel Wailea -- upscale, romantic. Coconut's is in the Azeka Place Mall -- fish taco's; no table service. Sansei is in the mall with Foodland. Across the street from Foodland is a new one people like, called Threes. Fred's/Moose's is still there. The 808 Deli is behind that.
Thanks so much for your replies. We will be there Nov this year...2 weeks over Thanksgiving. Is Cafe O Lei (sp?) still in Kihei? It was upstairs with no view but very good food. And there was an Italian place just down the hill from the Ekolu condos that was decent. I think something like Matteos ???
Cafe O Lei is still in business at the same location in South Kihei. Not sure about Matteo's. The Waterfront is gone (Maalaea). Shops At Wailea has a Longhi's and Tommy Bahamas -- hit or miss. I've never tried the chain steakhouse, Ruth's Chris (sp?). Eskimo Candy (up the street from the Salvation Army store in Kihei) has a few tables, but mostly take-out; you can buy fresh fish there too.
