Work continues on restoring the White House Hotel on U.S. 90 at White Avenue in Biloxi Tuesday, after the Biloxi Council agreed to a 100 percent tax abatement green day american tour dates for 5 years on the improved value. The developers had asked for the full 7-year abatement.

"We truly feel that we brought something back to Biloxi that isn't here today," said Cono Caranna, general manager of the White House. In other action Tuesday, the council approved the sale of fireworks in the city. The administration will continue to license fireworks stands for the Independence Day celebration, and the ordinance takes effect in 30 days.
