Malin Malineanu, Vice President of ANAT, concluded: TourismLink is a good opportunity for travel age


The TOURISMlink platform was presented to travel agents at the Romanian Travel Fair , in Bucharest on November 15. This year's autumn edition of the biannual fair attracted more than 200 companies from 11 countries to discuss the latest developments in the tourism industry.
As TOURISMlink's project managers, Paolina Marone and I presented the platform to travel agents, explaining what its main benefits will be, how it will help travel agents and tour operators, and what stage the pilot project has reached.
We explained that the aim is not to sell a platform that already exists and will compete tour master cortech sport with other systems. Instead, TOURISMlink would like to build something new, in conjunction with local tourism industries, and it's for this reason their participation is needed.
The message was well received and travel agents agreed that TOURISMlink represents tour master cortech sport a new approach in the travel industry, in which travel agents are called on to participate with hoteliers in shaping a tool that satisfies their needs.

TOURISMlink was presented in Greece tour master cortech sport on November tour master cortech sport 18. Held at the office of the  Hellenic Association of Travel Tourist Agencies (HATTA) in Athens, travel agents gathered to discuss how the platform could be of use to them.
It emerged that a large proportion of the travel agents present were focused on incoming tourism and that, since the economic situation in Greece has deteriorated, several outgoing agents have converted to incoming. In light of this, participants were very interested in the project, especially under an incoming perspective, tour master cortech sport and asked if incoming Greek travel agents could participate as destination country.
When Paolina Marone and I were presenting the project, we were questioned on the business model and the feedback we got from the agents tour master cortech sport on the "by the industry, for the industry approach was positive.
HATTA, a member of the European Travel Agents Tour Operators Association (ECTAA) – one of TOURISMlink's partner organisations – has organised the participation of its members during the platform's pilot stage in Greece. Agents wishing to participate will be offered training on the platform and asked for their input.
It is hoped that TOURISMlink will increase the competitiveness of small travel agencies, tour master cortech sport tour operators, and tourism SMEs by linking them in a pan-European online platform. The platform will be the first product of its kind to include complementary offers with transport and accommodation.
