The Salvation Army is joining forces with the Inverness Hotel and King Soopers to prepare 800 lbs. of turkey on Thanksgiving Day. The free meal will be held at the Colorado Convention Center on Thursday, Nov. 25, 2010, from 11:30 a.m. - 1 p.m. in Denver. Kitchen staff from the Inverness Hotel will begin preparing the turkeys at 2 a.m. on Thursday morning, and will also cook 200 pumpkin pies and 100 lbs. of potatoes for the annual feast.
