Summer solstice and the super moon came upon us in the same weekend. It must be a sign because the weather in the Mount Washington Valley has been crazy. Beautiful, hot, sunny days followed by short thunderstorms in the afternoons. Just enough rain to lower the temps a bit.
Where to begin with all the summer activities that are happening in the valley? Well some of the local ski mountains have exciting things to do in the summer as well. Visit Attitash, Cranmore or Wildcat for amazing adventures on ziplines, waterslides or giant swings. Or, if hiking is more your style, hikes for all abilities are scattered throughout the White Mountains. Black Cap off of Hurricane Mountain Road is always a great family hike. If you re looking for a challenge, join the 4,000 footer club. 48 mountains in NH over 4000 feet in elevation and have fantastic views.
Mountain biking, golf, road biking, canoeing, kayaking, rock climbing, paddleboarding .. we have it all in the vicinity. There is nothing like a day of canoeing down the Saco, relaxing in the sun. Pirates Cove Adventure Golf has been hopping. Be sure to play a round when you stay with us. It is certainly a great time for people of all ages.
