Getting ready to fly away on vacation next week and there will be no time to eat at airports due to numerous quick plane changes. Could you-all give me some Airplane Food ideas that don't require refrig? I'm doing good - staying below 20g carbs per day - have lost 36 pounds in 5 months and don't want to cheat! Thank you for your help!

Depending on where you are going and to what countries...Unless they are prepackaged, you wont be able to leave nor come into the country with nuts, fruits, or cheese. You won't be able to move through security with water even sealed. In some countries, you can't bring airport food onto the plane.
SO- Sealed protein bars. Maybe jerky if it is not opened. Get small packages. Mayo and tuna might be OK , but as a curtesy to other passengers, please fix your meal BEFORE boarding. cans of chicken might be better.
I have a little insulated bag (like a lunchbox, just squishable, and it keeps the cold in) that I take with me for such occasions! Take some string cheese (yum! How I miss it!), nuts, atkins bars , make some protein brownies, flax crackers, take salami sticks with...there are so many lovely portable things!
Also please remember many people have airborne allergies to nuts peanuts, so it may not be safe for them if you're eating nuts (or nut/peanut butter protein bars) ON the plane. Fewer people have seed allergies, so sunflower seeds should holiday inn sunspree resort be okay.
Although the government can't impose holiday inn sunspree resort peanut restrictions for airlines, some carriers have developed their own policies for allergy sufferers. Some no longer serve peanuts and may create peanut-free buffer zones. But Delta, holiday inn sunspree resort American and other airlines note on their websites that they can't guarantee peanut-free flights. --CNN
Thanks for all the good ideas, everyone! I won't be eating any nuts as I'm allergic to them. Leaning more towards ham and some cheese to get me through the day - thought about bringing pork rinds but they might gross people out! Just don't want to get humgry and do hope I can bring food on the plane!
