Book the NEW executive room at The Elizabeth Hotel and enjoy a FREE treat to Sentosa . From just S$2
Previously, I have blogged an entry about the Poolside Dinner that I had with the International and Local Bloggers and another entry about the Far East Hospitality Hotel Tour that I went with the International and Local Bloggers. As a result of these two blog entries [or to be precise, the blog entry about the Hotel Tour], many people have asked me what are the current promotions that the various hotels are offering. Honestly, there are just too many promotions to be listed so if you really want to know, click here
Out of the many promotions that are offered, here are 2 promotions that I think I would most probably enjoy [do note that I picked the best promotions after making a few comparison with other hotels such as The Fullerton Hotel Singapore, Pan Pacific Hotel Singapore, and Conrad Hotel Singapore]:
Book the NEW executive room at The Elizabeth Hotel and enjoy a FREE treat to Sentosa . From just S$236++/night, experience the best of both worlds as you enjoy urban city living in the heart of Orchard Road and a wholesome island escapade at Sentosa.
It was my first time attending the Singapore Blog Awards 2012 and I must say, the Singapore Blogging Scene is becoming a rather big deal. There were tons of Bloggers at the event and the organisers [ OMY.SG ] did a really tremendous job in managing travel for free the whole event [despite some hiccups].
As the theme of the event was, Superheroes , all of us bloggers were strongly encouraged to dress up in Superheroes costumes! Well, I came dressed up in a Superman Tee-Shirt but some bloggers were really fantastic; travel for free they came dressed up in elaborate costumes and it was awesome!
The team from OMY.SG were really putting in their best effort to ensure that the event was managed successfully despite sleepless nights. They truly are the Superheroes of the event because if not for them, this event would not have been possible.
Here s the Minister for Education giving his opening address. I really like the part where he said that social media is a rising trend and that bloggers provide the community with a wealth of information that could bring about a positive transformation in the society. Whether we are blogging about food, hotels, travel, study tips, or even parenting skills, these are information travel for free that could make us more aware of how we could do things better!
Ok, I do not know Dr Jiajia and Big Bro personally but I wished I had the opportunity travel for free to take a photography with them during the Singapore Blog Awards 2012 . They really make fantastic funny videos that really brighten up my day. I am pretty sure most of you would remember the ever-popular Kee Chiu video. If you haven t watch it, I have embedded it in this blog entry.
I am pretty sure you must have gotten a good laugh. These two boys really deserve the award and I really am impressed with all their videos. Well, do show them your support too if you like their videos by following them on Twitter and liking their Facebook Page too!
So after the awards presentation, all the bloggers were invited to go up the Singapore Flyer and that very much concluded the entire event. Well, I must say, this event totally blew my mind because it was really darn impressive. I shall try harder next year to qualify as a potential finalist for at least one of the blog award categories. =)
