PRESIDIO HEIGHTS San Francisco's fifth most expensive piece of residential real estate has taken a half a million chop of its asking price since we first introduced you to it in our map of the 25 Most Expensive Homes for Sale in San Francisco earlier this month. Due to some shifting around in the top spots, 3524 Jackson still remains as the fifth most expensive home in SF. The price reduction seemed to have done the trick, as the property's currently in escrow. [Curbed SF]
COW HOLLOW We first told you about the Stanley Saitowitz-designed concrete and steel fortress located at 2555 Union in Cow Hollow back in late October in 2011 when it plopped on the market asking $9,250,000. The 4-bed, 3.5-bath, 6,000 sq. ft. contemporary masterpiece has taken two chops to its price , the most recent brining down its asking price to $7,950,000. Hacking off millions must have done the trick, as the property's now in escrow. Hopefully it's San Francisco Giants pitcher Matt Cain? We gave him the idea . [Curbed SF]
