The aquarium really isn t that big in comparison to the Oregon Coast Aquarium that we are used to vi

We were told by our friends that it was a fun place to go and they could get the tickets cheaper because they work at one of the casinos affiliated with the aquarium. They planned on taking us to the aquarium on Saturday, so we had to wait until our last day in Las Vegas.
When the day finally came, we drove down to Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino, getting separated from our friends who made it through the traffic light ahead of us before it changed to red. Once reunited, we continued on and parked in the free parking at the Hotel, then walked inside. It took us a while to get there because several people in our group wanted to stop and take pictures at every display on the way.
When we finally got there, our friend went up to the ticket window and found out how much it was going to be. It turned out that it was going to cost us $7.50 each, which was a really good deal! So, our big group paid and went inside.
Once inside, the first thing that happened was they gathered us together for a group photo which they would try to sell to us as we exited the aquarium. I really did not like this, but I was willing to grin and bear it. It wasn t high pressure discount student plane tickets or anything, it was just annoying.
I remembered watching a show about the Komodo dragons on television a long time ago and that their saliva is full of bacteria. It makes your skin rot if they bite you, and that it could be deadly. These are the biggest lizards in the world and can grow up to ten feet long.
I wanted to stand there and ponder the magnificence of this animal, discount student plane tickets but my family was moving on so I had to hurry and catch up with them. Of course, I snapped a few photos before I moved on but they didn t turn out too well. Part of the reason for that was because discount student plane tickets I was carrying our six-month-old son.
Then we went around the corner of the aquarium and found the fish tanks. They had some pretty cool fish like the arapaima that I saw on Discovery Channel s River Monsters TV show. I didn t take a picture of it but it was copper colored and looked discount student plane tickets almost as if it was made out of plastic. It was about three-and-a-half feet long.
One of the cooler and larger discount student plane tickets exhibits was a shark tank with 1. 3 million gallons of water in it, filled with several different species of sharks! The exhibit is designed to look like you are in a sunken ship and you are looking out and seeing all the sharks swimming around you. It s pretty cool!
That was the last exhibit that we went to before we exited the aquarium and continued into the gift shop. In the gift shop they had lots of interesting toys. We bought a couple of small toys for our eight-year-old, which he probably couldn t locate now if I asked him to.
The aquarium really isn t that big in comparison to the Oregon Coast Aquarium that we are used to visiting on a regular basis. But I would have to say that it s pretty unique to have an aquarium that size in the middle of the desert.
