It s no secret at CRR that the Ford Fusion Titanium is my favorite rental car.  In fact, the Fusion Titanium is top on my list of cars to buy if I were to stop renting cars.  It has a superb combination of performance, handling, comfort, and an excellent infotainment system.  I haven t encountered the problems with MyFordTouch that Consumer Reports claims.
As far as I know, National Car Rental and Avis are the only rental agencies to offer the Ford Fusion Titanium.  ( I personally have yet to see a Fusion Titanium with Avis ).  Although all Ford Fusions have since been bumped up a rental size classification to a full size car, the Titanium trim is still an excellent value and probably the best bang-for-your-buck car in National s fleet.
They re also more difficult to find.  This is the first 2014 Titanium that I ve been able to rent in months.  Moreover, I have competition from the upper echelon City Managers/VPs at National who tend to scoop them first for their company car selections!

I have heard that the MyFord Touch works great in the Fusion. I have experienced the MyFord Touch in the Explorer and Taurus and they were awful systems. Makes me wonder if they worked out the kinks in the Fusion.
