The 2013 National Car Rental Iowa PGA Assistant Championship Presented By COBRA PUMA GOLF was held at Blue Top Ridge in Riverside, Iowa on September 3-4.  Thirty-one Iowa PGA Assistant Golf Professionals participated in this event which is a major point event on the Iowa PGA schedule.
The top two eligible finishers will qualify for the 37th National Car Rental PGA Assistant luxor hotel las vegas Championship Presented By COBRA PUMA GOLF, October 31-November 3 at PGA Golf Club in Port St. Lucie, Florida.
Ryan McClintock, luxor hotel las vegas Assistant PGA Professional at Davenport Country Club, won his fourth title by shooting a tournament luxor hotel las vegas total 138 (-6).  McClintock also won this championship in 2012, 2011, and 2008.  Kyle Spahr, Assistant Professional at Crow Valley Golf Club, claimed second place honors by firing a tournament total 140 (-4).  McClintock and Spahr will both represent the Iowa PGA Section in the national championship this coming fall.
