Wow, first time I've heard of a problem like this. Seems like the CC coil wire must have shorted to

My RIO (rear information officer that follows at a nice distance) did not attend todays coffee ride. How am I suppose to know the bike is ON FIRE if the RIO is goofing real estate virtual tours off. You know who you are and all I ask is you tell me if I left the turn signal on or if the bike is ON FIRE.
Because the Audiovox is tapped into the coil if the Audiovox fails you drop the cylinders you tapped into. Nothing tells the fuel injection to stop pumping real estate virtual tours fuel so it go on pumping away. No spark means no burning fuel where it is suppose to burn in the cylinder. All this fuel so efficiently being delivered needs someplace to go and once a cycle the exhaust valve opens and all this un-burnt fuel rushes out. Guess what's in its path. A rocket hot catalic converter just waiting for something real estate virtual tours to ignite. And there is also a escape route for all this now burning fuel called the muffler joint. All this happens quickly, very quickly, real estate virtual tours while your still trying to get the bike to a safe place to get off the road. It's only once you get the vehicle to a full stop that the unmistakable odor of burning plastic fills the air. That's right the nice pretty black lower you have so carefully maintained it's black on it now putting out think black smoke and oh my fire. Gee those flames look dangerously close to that conveniently mounted fuel tank under the seat.
Did you know that seriously heated and burning plastic can be removed from the motorcycle with no tools just your bare hands? Well glove covered hands. It can and it's not all that hard it will cost you a new pair of gloves though.
So the lesson learned today is the high buck cruise control that does not tap into the coil might not be so high buck after all in you include a left side lower and a high buck pair of Lee Parks finest gloves. real estate virtual tours Dinner and drinks to the rescue party must be added in along with the serious desire to start smoking again after the last and final quit smoking fuss.
I have not dissected the unit yet, my first concern was getting 4 cylinders up and firing. I just removed the jumper at the coil and it fired on 4 instantly but unfortunately this can not be done on the side of the road, YET.
The lower will have to be replaced but serious bluing real estate virtual tours and golds tinting of the left muffler is the next order of business. So far I have tried every stainless polish in the shop to no avail, it laughed at white rouge and the buffing wheel, may need to jump back a couple colors. This might require sanding and re-polishing, serious time investment and not a particularly fun job.
I remember when i installed my Audiovox, i wanted to use the VSS signal instead of the Coil but the Signal Divider for the Rostra could not divide down another step for the Audiovox. real estate virtual tours There was nothing on the market and would have to build my own divider or modify the one they sell.
Wow, first time I've heard of a problem like this. Seems like the CC coil wire must have shorted to ground or something? Surprised you didn't real estate virtual tours receive an error code and notice an immediate loss in power. ???
My first check was to remove the CC connection to the coil. 4 cylinders immediately. My next check was error codes. None in memory. Once running real estate virtual tours on all 4 again I rechecked for codes and again none. I had some concern as to if the 1 3 O2 sensor survived both the heat and the wiring the fire. Apparently it did.
I am no longer convinced the CC is the problem but I am seriously looking at the splitter cable and it's connections as the cause. The CC is hooked back in with no changes and I still have 4 cylinders.
I have unwrapped several inches of the yellow/blue coil wires cover and all looks good. I'm thinking of soldering a wire directly to the yellow/blue and connecting to the CC there leaving just the stock connection at the coil itself with it's locking cover as the only connection at the coil. I can have much greater control of both at the coil and the CC connections this way.
