In 2007, an Oklahoma woman and her eight-year-old son were staying in a Comfort travel new york Inn Suites hotel in Galveston, Texas. The woman has now filed a lawsuit against the Comfort Inn Suites , alleging negligence.
Legal documents travel new york filed by Friendswood attorney Jeffrey N. Todd state that the incident occurred while Shawna Martin and her son where getting off an elevator within the hotel. According to the lawsuit, As a result of this incident, [the boy] has sustained travel new york injuries . . . that are permanent, which have caused severe pain, disfigurement and impairment.
Todd further alleges that Neel Shah Hospitality Inc., which operated the Galveston Comfort Inn and Suites, failed to uphold its duty to protect those who pay to be guests at the hotel from unreasonably dangerous conditions on the premises or to warn of their existence. Todd states that the operating company should have been aware of the loose tile, and should have fixed it as it was in a public area of the hotel.
