LONG BEACH, Wash . – June 1, 2013 – Boreas Bed and Breakfast Inn claimed for the fifth consecutive year top-five finalist honors in KING 5-television's "Best of the Northwest: gatlinburg hotels and motels Great Getaways" contest.  Boreas, facing the Pacific Ocean on Washington's Long Beach Peninsula, is the only inn in the Northwest to receive this distinction.

Evening Magazine's "The Best of the Northwest Escapes" profiles regional businesses in 71 vacation, lifestyle and entertainment categories. Online voting started on March 18, 2013 and closed on April 12. Finalists gatlinburg hotels and motels were announced on April 30.

Built in the 1920's, gatlinburg hotels and motels this two-story beach house has been extensively remodeled. Skylights, exterior windows and a glassed-in front room facing the Pacific Ocean have been added. At the same time, a cedar, glass-fronted gazebo, facing the dunes, was built to house a 60-jet hot tub spa, enjoyed privately by couples or solo guests.
