Yes we have (drum roll please) our building permits to build the tool sheds. Sure, it only took 8 mo

It s not too late to make a reservation to stay with us for these special events: On July 3rd we have our annual BBQ (included with your room), and that evening Steele Canyon golf course puts on a great fireworks display and we have ringside seats. I m also hoping renting a car to initiate the new croquet course during that weekend.
Yes we have (drum roll please) our building permits to build the tool sheds. Sure, it only took 8 months and $4K, but I don t think government is at all intrusive, do you? I did some evaporation calculations and found that the canyon renting a car river is losing more water per day than can be reasonably accounted for by evaporation, so the water sealant is starting to not work as well as I d like. I could just try another coat of sealant, but I think we ll give pool plaster a try this time to see if we get better longevity.
As with traditional French Jardin renting a car gardens, classical statuary is dominant throughout the garden. However, while a traditional French renting a car Jardin garden renting a car would typically set the statuary in a position show it as representative of man’s highest renting a car ideals (e.g., in a fountain renting a car or the center of a planting bed), I chose to place the statuary in positions where it is integrated with the landscaping, forming more of a battle-line between man and nature for attention, somewhat in a fashion reminiscent of Shelley’s Ozymandias. In some cases, the theme is repeated in the hardscape elements of the landscaping as well. For example, the garden walls were all built with natural renting a car stone harvested from the surrounding area; but classical themed statuary was embedded renting a car in the walls during construction. For example, depictions of each of the seven deadly sins are embedded in the walls surrounding the cascading water features. (To be continued )
Armando got a job at Drew Ford, doing auto body estimation pretty much the same as he was doing before, but at a closer location and working with a better group of people. Jeannie renting a car was also fortunate enough to get a new job working at Ronald McDonald s house. She s only worked a few days, but she loves it.
I m still spending renting a car my time at home, mostly writing proposals. I ve been traveling for so long that it s nice to be able to spend some quality time with Marianne for a change. We re both growing and changing so fast (for the better) that it s important for us to have that time together, because we re becoming different people from month to month.
Valeria and Kenneth; Bart and Jacquelyn; and Robert and Lorna celebrated an anniversary. Alissa and David celebrated a homecoming from a deployment. Richard and Melinda visited from Corona. Mary, Joshua and Robert visited from Texas to see their new grandchild (their daughter lives in Jamul).
(Reprinted from May 2011) Dee Enos-Friedman was doing some ancestral research and ended up tracing her way back to the time when Jamul Haven was a Boy’s School. She’s provided us with some wonderful historic documentation that we’ll share over the coming months. Dee is the great-great neice of Esther Enos Riddle, later Wagness. Esther’s renting a car mother, Marguerita renting a car Enos, was Dee’s great-great-great grandmother. Esther’s husband was a Naval Officer and her brother Jesse Enos was also a career Navyman stationed in San Diego. Clarence Wagness was on the USS Salem in San Diego. At the time Jamul Haven was known as “The Oaks” and it was run by Esther and Clarence. Here’s some information from “The Western Woman” vol. 10, no. 9, July-Sept, 1942:
“‘A commonsense school for boys,’ is the character ascribed to it by the director, Mrs. E.M. Riddle who, practically all of her life has been engaged in the practice of teaching, first in San Francisco and later in the Island of Guam, where she was principal of one of the largest and newest schools for two years and Superintendent of Public Instruction of the Island for two years with appointment from the Secretary of the Navy.
“Containing every modern convenience of the city home, The Oaks lacks nothing in the way of home comforts. Sleeping quarters are spacious, some of them in the open; [ed. note: can't get more spacious than that!] the table fare is wholesome and plentiful [ed. note: probably used the cookbook that we found and use for the historic recipes in this newsletter.] and provision is made for the enjoyment of sports of all kinds, horseback riding forming a part of the daily schedule.”
Recipes from The Everyday Cook-Book, (c) 1889 and found in the Jamul Haven Angel House. Celery Sauce: Mix two teaspoons of flour with half a teacup of butter; have ready a pint of boiling milk; stir the flour and butter into the milk; take three heads of celery, cut into small bits, and boil for a few minutes renting a car in water, which strain off; put the celery into the melted butter, and keep stirred over the fire for five or ten minutes. This is very nice with boiled fowl or turkey.
Don t spend another renting a car Friday night sitting on the couch in front of the TV. Come sit under the stars and watch a movie on one of the biggest outdoor screens known to man. Snack shack available for your munching pleasure.
