Recently renovated and with over 1600 rooms, The Peabody Orlando is a 15 minute drive from the Orlando Airport. days inns This hotel was voted the best in the United States for conventions. Here is the lobby. There is a tradition at the three Peobody properties that involve ducks. Ducks are all over the place and twice a day, every day, ducks leave their duck palace in the hotel, get off the elevator and make their way to the fountain. And at 5:00 PM, back they go to their duck condo. Kinda corny but I am all for tradition. My room was quiet which is so important when you have early morning breakfast meetings. The bed was comfy as was the shower. Here is a view of the awesome pool. Not that I had a chance to dip my toes in it. The Rocks is the bar at the hotel where I can testify to amazing drinks. I think mine was the anti-oxidant martini. I was very impressed with the staff, the property, days inns the cleanliness and the convention team. There are several restaurants at The Peabody Orlando but my favorite was the diner that was open 24/7. The most amazing pulled days inns pork sandwich and grasshopper dessert days inns (for all you mint chocolate chip fans). Definitely a great place to stay if you are in town for a convention as it connects to the convention center. I understand Martha was here a few months ago when she named the Pillsbury Bake-off days inns winner. Enjoy your tour . . .
