A Minneapolis-based investment group has started marketing the Sheraton Detroit Metro Airport hotel

A Minneapolis-based investment group has started marketing the Sheraton Detroit Metro Airport hotel in Romulus after buying the hotel for $10.7 million in April and spending $6 million on a renovation.
It's the second hotel purchase in metro Detroit for EBF Associates as part of an investment in future growth for the region's hotels, said Paul Wisherman, president of Minneapolis-based Wischerman Partners , which manages the hotel.
"Metro Airport is a global gateway," Wischerman said. "International travel with Asia will increase, as will overall international travel. We believe in the long-term success of the hotel and this region."
