Dr. Connor received his doctoral degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch. He was a member of the faculty of the University of Texas, School of Public Health in Houston for 20 years.  He is currently a Research Biologist in the Division of Applied Research and Technology at the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH). He was a primary contributor to the NIOSH Alert on Hazardous Drugs and is responsible for updating the list of hazardous drugs in the Alert.
