The dollar to euro rate could be better, but it is enjoying a relatively favorable exchange recently, so why not book a trip to Rome? There are thousands of accommodations to choose motel rates in monterey california from, ranging from dingy hostels to overblown 5-star luxury hotels. Narrowing down the options can seem daunting, so here are some recommendations, from self catering apartments to five-star digs.
The Beehive : Americans Steve and Linda offer friendly, eco-conscious accommodations of varying types in the Esquilino neighborhood. Private rooms (from €70), dorm beds (from €20), and self-catering apartments (from €180 per apartment).
Albergo Santa Chiara : A labyrinthine three-star just one block from the Pantheon. If you want to be in the heart of the historic center with restaurants, motel rates in monterey california wine bars, and shops at your fingertips, this is the place.
Hotel Raphael motel rates in monterey california : A five-star hotel and veritable art museum located just steps from Piazza Navona. The roof-top bar and restaurant motel rates in monterey california has amazing views and is a lovely place to grab a drink whether you are a guest or not.
Villa Spalletti Trivelli : Elegantly decorated motel rates in monterey california rooms and suites, a spa and a private garden make this luxurious villa on the slopes of the Quirinal Hill a unique destination. Proximity to Monti is a bonus.
Here are a few other budget accommodations that I inspected and wrote about for Budget motel rates in monterey california Travel and have excellent motel rates in monterey california guest feedback on travel forums: Hotel Grifo in Monti, La Casa di Amy in the Esquiline district, Hotel Paba in Monti and Hotel Santa Maria in Trastevere.
Thanks for this list it ll be very helpful for our next time there. This past vacation we stayed at Hotel Raphael s sister hotel Hotel Raffaelo, near St.Maria Maggiore, so we had access to their roof top bar. It was perfect for our before dinner drinks we almost moved over. We also stayed at the St. Anselmo when we returned to Rome a week later and really liked it there. A little out of the way but they had parking and were in a perfect spot for walks into Testaccio. Thanks again for this list.
I d recommend looking at realrome.com for self-catering apartments and studios. For example, their Cappellari studios are two minutes stroll from Campo de Fiori but (usually) undisturbed by the unfortunate aspects of life there now. Cappellari itself is still an authentic Roman neighbourhood. Second floor apartments in a mediaeval building. Not really suited to family holidays but ideal for couples. Obligatory declaration of interest: the owners are friends of mine but it s still a really good deal for a good location.
Hi Katie got your site through the Guardian travel section on food in Rome . Our small group is travelling to Italy in September 2015 and I was delighted to also find your app on Rome which will come in very handy. I was looking to find a hotel in the trastevere area, but of course, your Santa Maria was totally booked. Is the 3-star hotel trastevere near the plaza a good choice? It is an exceedingly difficult area to find rooms even 8 months in advance!
