I was at work today and had some time waiting to think and my mind to wander. I was so hungry and started london elizabeth hotel thinking about our Dec 16th cruise on Miracle. I thoght about how nice it is to be able to wake up in the morning and go out to a spread of food that most would die for. My mouth started wattering and I thought about what my specific favorites were from our our last cruise.
The homemade potato salad was so yummy I kept getting refills! The homemade flour chips were awesome and about made myself sick with those and cheese sauce and the homemade london elizabeth hotel salsa. My mouth is watering again just typing this. I can t wait to not have to cook for 8 days and have better food than I would have at home!

My first cruise was last Sept. I was soooo freaking excited to be on the ship that I didn t take part in much of the food options. Other then dinner in the MDR all but 1 of the nights and wouldn t you know it? THAT was the night they had steak!!!
I only ordered room service once and that was for our wake up at 5 am and watch the sun come up morning. Of course, my roomie didn t know that is what we were doing until the food arrived at 5:30 AM or so. She was NOT happy at first, then after she watched the sunrise with me, she was tickled that I had MADE her get up.
YES I plan on making my roomie, a newbie and different from last time, wake up SUPER early to watch the sunrise and I will surprise her with breakfast in bed. She may hate me at first, but will soon realize it is WELL WORTH IT!!!

To be honest, I haven t had a bad meal on any of my cruises. On the very first cruise, the first night, they served conch soup. Sure wish that was still offered.
