This is the first in a series of blogs and coordinating DIS Unplugged: Disneyland Edition podcast segments focusing on the off-property establishments near the Disneyland Resort known collectively as Good Neighbor Hotels .   My first stop was the Quality Inn Suites At The Park located at 1166 W. I visited the Quality Inn on the second weekend in December booking just a few days in advance.  With a 10% AAA discount, I paid $80.95 per night before tax ($94.71 after tax) for a handicapped accessible King room.
This Quality Inn is right next door to a Denny s restaurant, which is a stop for the Anaheim Resort Transit.  If you choose to walk, you should rental car phoenix airport be able to make it to the Parks in just over 20 minutes.  It s about 10 minutes rental car phoenix airport to the Paradise Pier Hotel or 15 minutes to the Grand Californian or Disneyland Hotel .
Parking is free and adequate.  You may have to look for a spot, but they are there.  I ve stayed at other motels rental car phoenix airport in the area that force late arrivals to park across the street or blocking other vehicles.
The furniture, paint, carpeting rental car phoenix airport and window treatments appeared to be fairly new, but you couldn t help but realize that you were staying in an older motel.  One unusual thing about this particular room though, was that there was a connecting door being blocked by the armoire and desk.  There was also an issue with the desk chair, which was very nice, but was way too low for the desk or maybe the desk was too high.
The room was very clean. rental car phoenix airport The housekeeping staff was also in charge of maintaining the breakfast bar (which I ll discuss later) and did a great job with that as well.  One nitpicky maintenance rental car phoenix airport issue was that the chain lock on the door had been replaced, but the previous holes were still visible.  I like being safe, but I couldn t help but notice the shortcut.
I did have a couple (again nitpicky) issues with the bathroom.  The first being the window, which was frosted for privacy, but provided a LOT of sunlight into the room at dawn when this blogger rental car phoenix airport was trying to sleep in, but forgot to close the bathroom door.
The other, I think, could be a safety issue.  It s my understanding that many accessible rooms will provide a bench to use in the shower.  At first look, the Quality Inn did provide something to sit on in the shower, but the item is really a plastic outdoor patio table, which not only wouldn t hold much weight, but would also slip around if it were used as a bench or stool.  I m really not sure what the intent was here.
Free breakfast is provided in the lobby from 6:00am to 9:30am.  The expanded continental breakfast menu includes pastries, toast, bagels, cereal, yogurt, sausage patties, scrambled rental car phoenix airport egg patties, fresh waffles, fruit, coffee, orange juice, apple juice and milk.  Seating is limited in the lobby, but additional seating is provided outside in the courtyard.
This should give you some basic information about the Quality Inn Suites At The Park that you can use to help plan your vacation.  Remember, this is based on a two nights stay in one room of the motel.
The Choice Hotels family of motels have been my go to brand for the past couple of years, and the Quality Inn is among my favorite divisions, so I may be biased mostly because of the waffles but the pricing rental car phoenix airport is competitive and the rooms are clean and comfortable.  When you and your travel agent are pricing off-property motels for your Disneyland Resort vacation, be sure to consider the Quality Inn Suites At The Park.
