While many members of the service either don’t own a car of their own or use the Car2Go service as a secondary car when needed, we’d like to think time alone in an electric car might encourage them to buy their own at some point in the future.
I too had seen this photo floating around. I personally wouldn't buy a Smart car for safety reasons, spirit airline largely because of tests conducted by the IIHS which have been critical of the safety of Smart cars, as well as the Yaris and Fit back in 2009. The Fit and Yaris were since redesigned and are now top safety picks.
