The centre/wing is in pursuit of the kind of form that saw him score 16 tries in his debut season as he like a clutch of out-of-contract Bath players seek to nail a spot in head coach Gary Gold's plans for the 2013-14 campaign.
An injury sustained against Wasps in just the second enterprise rent a car marketing strategy week of the Premiership frustrated Banahan's bid to register on England coach Stuart Lancaster's radar ahead of the autumn internationals. But following a return to action against London Welsh in the Premiership on November 4 and two subsequent LV= Cup matches, Banahan feels well-placed to kick on.
"I've been at Bath for seven years," said Banahan, still only 25. "Before this injury, two matches was the longest I'd ever been out for. I wanted to come back into action as soon as I was fit again.
Friday's Cup clash at Quins saw Banahan line up opposite current England Elite Player Squad centre Jordan Turner-Hall, and it is against such opposition that Banahan, who is still only 25, believes enterprise rent a car marketing strategy he can most compellingly stake his claim for a return enterprise rent a car marketing strategy to international action.
"I was really pleased with the way I performed against Quins," said Banahan, who was speaking at the announcement of Bath Rugby's Formal Wear Supplier for 2012/13, McArthurGlen's Swindon Designer Outlet and leading menswear designer Jeff Banks.
One highly overrated player. He can't tackle, his up and under chase is always mistimed. For the size of him, he can't brake tackles and his running lines are so telegraphed. He is Bath's least effective winger and he has never shown promise with the move to centre. If this isn't his last season for bath I've got some hat eating to do. Come on Gold - do the right thing!!!
