Organizers held a press conference yesterday in Beijing to officially kick off the media blitz for The Summer Sonic Music Festival, happening in Shanghai this August 17th-18th. The two-day event began thirteen years ago and has since become one of Asia s largest music festivals, but this year marks the first time it comes to the Mainland.
Beginning with a great live band that had no shortage of rocking love ballads, organizers went on to explain the background of the festival. Sponsors used phrases like "we can strive together to achieve our dreams," and "music is the language of young people," though the best by far was "through this music festival one can challenge car rental anchorage ak and breakthrough the brand of the self."
