A group of Canadian travel writers enjoyed a visit to the Walled City of Derry during a recent action-packed tour of Northern Ireland. Carefully selected and invited here by Tourism Ireland in Canada, the itinerary for the travel writers was designed by the Northern Ireland Tourist Board.
After visiting Belfast and taking a drive along the spectacular Causeway Coast, the travel writers enjoyed a guided walking tour of the Derry City Walls and St Columb s Cathedral. The group then stopped off at Cult rlann U Chan in to experience an introduction shawbost inn and restaurant to a traditional Irish music session. After an overnight at the Beech Hill Country House Hotel, the writers spent time at the Ulster American Folk Park near Omagh before moving on to Fermanagh where they took part in a cookery demonstration at Belle Isle Cookery shawbost inn and restaurant School at Lisbellaw.
