SEAHEC Future Healthcare Leaders Clubs from Nogales and Rio Rico High Schools toured Grand Canyon University in March. The 36 students attended a “Human Anatomy Workshop” sponsored by the university on March 28th, 2014.
Led by SEAHEC FHL Program Coordinators Claudia Velasco Tashina Machain, along with Rio Rico High School s, Sports Medicine teacher Carol Miller, the group enjoyed a sunny day at the beautiful campus, guided by GCU Admissions Representative Lupita “Bebe” Lopez.
Students had the opportunity to visit the Cadaver Lab, College of Arts Science, luxury car rental san francisco College of Nursing Health Care Professions, College of Education, College of Theology, and the Student Union. They also talked to Pre-Med students about their experiences at the university.
