The home has just been completely remodeled with custom granite, hardwood floors and ceramic tile touches. The manicured back yard shares the views and doubles the livable space of the house when the weather is clear. For our stay this meant everyday. Minutes away is the Arroyo Burro Beach which provides wonderful mild surf with fantastic views of the Channel Islands. A little further and you arrive at UC Santa Barbara with fabulous art exhibits and cultural events. The campus is adjaent to the airport. The park has wonderful hiking trails and you can watch hangliders jump off the cliffs and soar away. It is great to avoid the 101 and take the side streets. We satayed at this beautiful house over Thanksgiving week 2013. The house was beautifully decorated, immaculately clean and had all the kitchen supplies we needed to make a great Thanksgiving dinner. There was plenty of room for 3 couples to sleep comfortably in the three bedrooms, along with one more person on the pull out couch in the study. Your house is beautifully designed and furnished -- and everything has been thought of for the comfort of the guests. We especially enjoyed the spectacular views from your Adirondack chairs out on the lawn, your beautiful garden, and the fact that we could basically step out the front door and into the park next door.

From the spacious landscaped backyard there is a tremendous view of Santa Barbara. It is situated at the end of a quiet street adjacent to the entrance to a hiking park which closes at 7:00 PM. Follow Cliff in the other direction and arrive in downtown Santa Barbara or turn right onto Meigs and take the coastal route. Miles of beaches and coastline as you twist and turn into the Marina and then on to Stearns Wharf.
The house is midway between the UC Santa Barbara campus (and the airport) and coastal State Street. Take Las Positas to upper State Street and find a cluster of great ethnic restaurants. the location is great for traveling by car and equally ideal for those who enjoy biking. Should you want a hike, expect to walk 5 miles downhill downtown montreal discount hotel to downtown but remember the same 5 miles will be uphill when you return.
The house does not have tennis courts or a swimming pool and there is no hot tub so if these are important amenities for your stay look elsewhere.
