Loved the Coastal Cottage. The weather happened to be exceptional, a bonus. The house is very comfy. Everything we needed was there. We cooked out meals with ease. Stayed warm and comfortable in the Queen bed. Very close to the Dock where we Crabbed. We drove to Brookings for a day away. Had a nice lunch and a great drive.
Such a cute and clean little cottage. It was perfect for my husband, myself, and my parents. We brought our little rome guided city tours dog with us and she enjoyed the spacious yard and our walks down to the beach. We really liked the decor of the cottage and the opportunity to park our car in the garage.

When we walked into this little cottage we were very pleasantly surprised, it is so cute, decorated so nice and much more roomy than you would imagine. The walk to the beach is only about a quarter of a block. The back yard is very big and has several fruit trees. Loved it!
Upon arriving were more than pleased with the beautiful, sunny weather...then to see such a cute beach cottage so close to the water was truly the cherry on the sunday! Tastefully decorated and cozy our stay was the best vacation experience we've ever had as a family! Having that 2nd half bath was a life saver! The master bedrooms sleigh bed was hevenly and listening to the waves while falling alseep rome guided city tours everynight-undescribable. Location was perfect, walking distance of lighthouse and gorgeous beaches! OUr children ages 16 and 11 walked rome guided city tours to Dutch Bros every morning and got me a mocha! Our 4 legged, furry son was over the moon with the fenced backyard, so much room to play. All beaches pet friendly, FYI though dogs are not allowed at the lighthouse if you are considering doing the tour. I could go on and on! Till next year.....
This was our second time staying at this house and we love it! The house is great for a family and the location is awesome! Enjoyed the house very much even though it was cold and had to use the space heaters that was provided. Have not yet received my pet or cleaning refund, and no reason as to why I have not, I felt I left the house as clean as I found it.
We were here for one month and found the property very comfortable and clean. The owner was responsive to our needs for some small repairs. The beach access is great. This accommodation is not fancy but the price is right. I would recommend it to others.

My bulldog Otis & I spent the MLK holiday weekend here. Besides being 1 block from a beautiful beach, I could not get over the thought that went into what seemed to be a fairly recent renovation. From the draperies to the linens to the well stocked kitchen, it is clear the owners knew what they were doing. I have stayed all over Northern Calif, Sonoma, Guerneville, etc. & this rivals any place I've been & what a price! Of course, we were fortunate enough to be in Crescent City on a beautiful sunny winter weekend, but even a cloudy one would be fine. The backyard was a huge bonus...to be able to just open the door & let Otis out, without worrying, was great! A very worthwhile stay.
The perfect beach cottage within a block give or take from the beach. If you love to walk this is a place that offers so much within a short distance. There is no HD connection to the TV just the standard RCA jacks. We spent most of our time on the beach even with tough weather. Debbie, the owner, was great to work with and made our connection very easy. We plan to return this summer!

We absolutely loved all of the outdoor activities. The beach at the end of the street was rocky, but it was only a short walk to a nice sandy beach by a park (again loved by our toddler). It was a perfect location for visiting the redwood national park. We did lots of hiking and exploring. Our only complaint was the lack of dining options in Crescent City. What was available was overpriced. Overall though it was a fantastic vacation.

One of bedrooms need more ventilation, as its windows face a tree and the closet shares a wall with the bathroom, although threre wasn't any signs of mold, the smell of humidity was very strong. Maybe some store bought anti humidty products placed in the closet and the corners of the room would fix the problem.
