The women s basketball team is playing in the Paradise Jam in St. Thomas, the U.S. Virgin Islands, from Nov. 28-30 with Central Michigan, Duke, Kansas, Memphis, Syracuse, Texas A M and Texas. XU will play in three games (vs. Duke, Kansas and CMU) at the University of the Virgin Islands.
That s awesome southwest airlines discount tickets in itself, but there is a heck of a travel deal for Xavier fans, too. The team chartered a plane and has seats available for fans to purchase. It s only $850 round trip. (I remember paying much more than that when flying commercial when the men s team went there. And you would be flying direct.)
Sometimes teams split chartered flights to tournaments like these but XU is flying solo on a smaller plane. There are hotel packages  to stay at the Frenchman s Reef or Morning Star Marriott Beach Resort, with game passes and travel southwest airlines discount tickets to and from the gym.
