An email from Baltz and Company indicates that on Wednesday, November 7 at 7:00 PM, Ken Oringer and several other Boston chefs will be at Mike's City Diner on Washington Street to help raise money for the American carnival cruises specials Red Cross. The chefs will prepare a meal of white truffles, oysters, carnival cruises specials foie gras, duck, and lobster (including wine pairings) for 50 guests at a minimum donation of $500 per person, with all of the money going to the organization. Chefs who will be at the event include Ken Oringer (Clio, Uni, Toro, La Verdad, Coppa, Earth), Jamie Bissonnette (Toro, Coppa), Joanne Chang (Flour Bakery, Myers + Chang), Jay Hajj (Mike's City Diner), Tony Maws (Craigie on Main), Michael Serpa (Neptune Oyster Bar), and Ming Tsai (Blue Ginger, Blue Dragon), with a raw bar provided by Island Creek Oysters.
