The Funshine Music Festival is the biggest outdoor concert event to rock the Tampa Bay music scene in some time. Over 30 bands and some of the greatest musicians of our time will be performing on six different stages in a carnival atmosphere.  $25 gives you unlimited rides and musical fun .  Friday, May 3rd: Train, The Smashing Pumpkins, Cheap Trick, Good Old War, American Idols Phillip Phillips.and others. Saturday, May 4th: REO Speedwagon, Styx, Ted Nugent, New Found Glory, Chris Carrabba of Dashboard Confessional, Wee The Kings and many others, including an AC/DC tribute band. Sunday, May 5th: Gary Allan, Kix Brooks, The Wallflowers, Josh Thompson, The Lone Bellow and many others, including Rolling Stones and Beatles tribute bands.

Party band, The Current, will fiesta free on stage from 10 p.m. until 1 a.m., and DJ Chris Craze will keep the party going until 4 a.m.

All aboard everyone! Big kids and little kids of all ages will giggle with delight when they climb on board Largo Central Railroad's miniature trains. The first weekend of every month they open up and offer free public run days. Everyone is welcome. Over a mile and a half of tracks run through Largo Central Park. They operate from 10am to 4pm. Bring a picnic or buy lunch from one of the vendors. Children must be at least one year to ride the trains.
