Because that s what the press release from the SOFO Retail Business District and Block Party store PR person ez carrental said: On June 7, Block Party Handmade Boutique along with the other new retailers on South Fourth Street will be part of the First Friday Downtown Trolley Hop.
Keith Brooks, LDMC Communications Specialist, told us that he got the SOFO press release when we did. At one point there had been discussions about adding the SOFO district, but nothing had been decided.
That doesn t mean you can t hoof it up to the SOFO area from a trolley stop on Market, right? SOFO– the South Fourth Street Retail District is located between the Historic Brown and Seelbach Hotels in Downtown Louisville. Easy peasy.
This First Friday will include refreshments, ez carrental prizes, entertainment and a unique shopping experience from the retailers! Block Party will be featuring a free DIY craft project by local artist Craft E Magee.
Trolley Hop goers will find free parking at the 4th St. Live! garage and on the street after 6 pm. Trolleys run until 11PM for those interested in visiting both South Fourth and East Market Streets. (Trolley and parking Information provided by Louisville Downtown Management District)
