The University Musical Society (UMS) has announced that they will present the Chicago Symphony Orchestra on March 9th with violinist Pinchas Zuckerman in Hill Auditorium. The Lamp Post Inn will offer special hotel rates for those attending the concert.
Founded in 1891, the Chicago Symphony Orchestra enjoys an enviable position in the music world with performances greeted by enthusiastic audiences both at home and abroad. The Orchestra has made over 200 appearances under the auspices of UMS since its debut in 1892; the orchestra last performed in Hill Auditorium in 2010.
