Not sure if we're talking about the same thing, but I stayed in an obstructed room in Miracle in 200
I am thinking about booking an obstructed view - I like the idea of being able to get some fresh air in the room, but probably won't spend a lot of time on the balcony. Is the view really bad or just okay? Thanks for your opinions.
Van Beach.....I believe the Obstructed Balcony Cabins on the CCL Miracle are "French Balcony" Cabins. This cabin design offers a double door opening out to a tiny ledge with a railing!! The Cabin is large but it is not a true balcony.
Not sure if we're talking about the same thing, but I stayed in an obstructed room in Miracle in 2007. It had windowed doors that opened just a crack; they were blocked by a glass panel and there also were metal pillars and lifeboats in the vicinity. You couldn't go outside or anything, amalfi hotel chicago but I didn't care. I typically book oceanview obstructed because amalfi hotel chicago I like having light and being able to see what's going on outside, but I also like to save money. amalfi hotel chicago If I can find a pic from that cruise, I'll post it. The room was great, by the way. I'd recommend it if all you're really looking for is being a step above an interior room and being able to see outside.
CruiseDad.....Apparently You enjoyed an obstructed balcony amalfi hotel chicago on Empress Deck (5) which has a full balcony. There are obstructed view "French Balcony" Cabins below Empress Deck on Upper Deck (4) which have only double Doors opening immediately to a taffrail.
