Dmitriy Setrakyan is co-founder and CTO of GridGain Systems, founded in 2005 and funded by RTP Ventu


GridGain develops software for companies who see real time big data as a strategic asset and who need live data business analytics and processing. Our product is a Java-based open source in-memory platform that provides unique integration between in-memory data and compute grid technologies and can scale up from a single server to thousands of machines to handle terabytes of data in real time.
Nikita Ivanov is founder and CEO of GridGain Systems, started in 2005 and funded by RTP Ventures. Nikita has led GridGain to develop advanced and distributed in-memory data and computational grid technologies the top Java HPC (high performance computing) platform in the world today.
Nikita has over 20 years of experience in software application development, building HPC and middleware platforms, contributing to the efforts of other startups and notable companies including Adaptec, Visa and BEA Systems. Nikita was one of the pioneers in using Java technology for server side middleware development while working for one of Europe s largest system integrators in 1996.
He is an active member of Java middleware community, contributor to the Java specification, and holds a Master's degree in Electro Mechanics from Baltic State Technical University, Saint Petersburg, Russia.

Dmitriy has been designing, architecting and developing software and applications for over 15 years and has expertise in the development of distributed computing systems, middleware platforms, financial trading systems, CRM applications and similar systems.
Jon Webster heads GridGain s global sales and strategic partnership efforts, driving significant revenue growth for the company. Jon brings significant expertise to GridGain Systems with over 15 years of senior and global technology and sales history with notable global companies including Netuitive, Microsoft, AmberPoint (acquired by BEA/Oracle) and SilverStream Software (acquired by Novell).
Jon has also held a number of technical roles, was an early adopter of Java for use in an online gaming startup he co-founded in 1996, while also developing his expertise on J2EE and Java Application Servers.
Andrey Kornev recently joined GridGain Systems to head the company s global engineering operations. Andrey brings over 20 years of software development and management experience from leading companies including Thomson Reuters, Yahoo! and E*Trade Financial, while also contributing to The Apache Software Foundation. Andrey s focus and expertise is on large scale, high performance systems used to solve massive computational problems.
Thomas Krafft heads GridGain s overall marketing and communication efforts with over 15 years of experience helping companies connect with their customers. Thomas has driven successful web and marketing efforts for Fortune companies including Intuit and Veritas, internet startups (both acquired), and hundreds of clients he served through his own consulting firms, including NASA and The Internet Archives.
Thomas most recently helped launch a successful new commercial product into the emerging NOSQL ( Not Only SQL ) space, while also helping to promote and increase overall awareness around the entire marketplace of new and alternative data technologies which are becoming critical components of enterprise, government, web and mobile software systems.
Jacob Zhdanov manages R D for GridGain Systems and brings over 10 years of operational and technical management expertise to the company. Jacob has worked with a number of customers, particularly in Western Europe, to establish their development organizations and manage them from conception through successful product releases.
