We used to go to this hotel back when it was the Washington Hotel. We liked it then but really enjoy it now. As others have said, the place is loud and sexy, with the rooftop and lobby areas pulsating until late into the night (at least on weekends). Some like this, others not. We are in the former camp....

This was an interesting stay for our family. We chose the W because of its proximity to everything and its good reputation. We had a car with us but we wanted to be able to walk places so we thought this would be convenient.
