Chicago is addicted to hotel rooms, especially new ones. According to the New York Times , it is currently America's 4th largest hotel market , but this year we're really gaining on cities 1-3 (they are Las Vegas, New York, and Orlando). We're expecting at least five big openings in 2014 including new construction (The Godfrey), a design overhaul to a former hotel (The Kenzie), and several building conversions. We went ahead and mapped all the not-yet-opened hotels that we're expecting at some point in the future. Did we miss a few? Please let us know in the comments.
